We have lived in Prescott, Arizona for a long time ~ cumulatively we have 50 years of life experience in  Prescott, AZ. We have both worked as R.N.s, motel owners and landlords, doing our own management, maintenance, cleaning & repairs... 

After doing many 'home rehabs', we have worked on stick built and manufactured homes & personally we usually find the latter much easier to repair as access is easier to plumbing etc.

We lived in a 2125 sq. ft. manufactured home for 11 years. We sold it & the lot it was on for twice what we originally paid for it. We now live in a stick built house & I can honestly say I miss our old house. It was open, bright & sunny with loads of windows & skylights. We  installed ceramic tile in the living area, kitchen & bath which really made it classy. When most of our kids moved out, we divided the 2 end rooms off, created an outside entrance, & added a small kitchen area in one of the bedrooms creating a studio apartment. In the end we rented that portion out with utilities included for 8 years & never had more than 10 days vacancy. The current tenants were there 3 years when we sold it. This is what we plan to do with the 2000 Redman we will be locating & rehabbing on Short St. in Prescott this month.
